​​KNDC is owned and led by artistic director Kelly Neill who formed the dance company in January 2015. Kelly is a fully qualified dance teacher and has a wealth of experience and expertise in the dance industry and is an extraordinary member of the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD) with distinction dance teaching qualifications with CCEA, Fitness Northern Ireland, British Gymnastics Association and Acrotrix Ltd, Early movers and Diamonds qualification with NATD. 

Kelly was the Choreographer and movement coach for the Riverside Youth Theatre for 8 years, Project Director for DU Dance Ni's youth engagement programme for 5 and a half years and  Dance Lecturer at the NRC Performing Arts course for 5 years. Kelly became the first dance teacher to bring Dance Gymnastics through the NATD to Northern Ireland which was offered along with core proficiency gymnastics to students from January 2020.  From September 2021 Strengthening the gymnastics teams by adding more gymnastic/acro classes.  In June 2023 KNDC Gymnastics expanded with a second studio for gymnastics and Acro.

Mackenzie started dancing for Kelly when she was 10 years old in DU Dance NI, Mackenzie’s love for dance grew and when KNDC started up in Ballymoney she joined.  In 2015 she became a dance captain to help gain experience in a leadership role, she has accomplished her Contemporary grading from 1 - 6 at Distinction level.. She has Level 5 Musical Theatre grade, OCR Level 3 Performing Arts at Distinction level in both.  Level 3 Child care to learn more about children, In March 2022 she qualified under the mentorship of Kelly to gain her children’s coaching qualification in Dance and child Fitness, and an acro teaching qualification with Acrotrix Ltd. She still enjoys performing with her dance team. Mackenzie teaches alongside Kelly in a full-time role as a dance teacher and gymnastics coach.

At KNDC we value all of our students, we have an amazing scheme in place which gives our senior dance/gymnastics students the opportunity to gain experience, and leadership knowledge by offering the chance to become dance/gymnastics captains in the junior dance teams and gymnastics teams as well as tiny dancer teams.  They are rewarded with half-price classes and are given a Captain T-shirt which they can wear with pride in their own teams as an incentive for their commitment and help.
